Gerhard Aldinger winery
The Aldinger winery is located in the Baden-Württemberg town of Fellbach in the German wine-growing region Württemberg . It produces 175,000 bottles of wine annually on 22 hectares of vineyards. The winery is a member of the Association of German Prädikats- und Qualitätweingüter e. V. (VDP).
history
The tradition of the winery dates back to 1492. The 15th generation is now in charge.
Vineyards and grape varieties
The most important location of the Aldinger winery is the 9.6 hectare Untertürkheim Gips, which is the sole property of the winery. This location emerged from a former gypsum quarry and is partly on the Stuttgart-Untertürkheim district (→ Viticulture in Stuttgart ).
The winery produces around 30% Trollinger , 30% Riesling , 15% Pinot Noir and 4% each of Merlot , Pinot Blanc , Lemberger , Cabernet Sauvignon , Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer .
