The Max Weishaupt GmbH is a 1932 by Max Weishaupt vested medium-sized family of combustion technology in Schwendi in the district of Biberach in Upper Swabia .

In 2013 the company employed around 3,000 people and achieved annual sales of around 540 million euros. Almost 1,000 employees work at the headquarters in Schwendi, the rest are spread over 29 branches in Germany and 21 subsidiaries worldwide.
Weishaupt GmbH is part of the larger Weishaupt group. This is divided into the following areas:
- Weishaupt : Weishaupt specializes in the manufacture of burners , heating systems , heat pumps , solar systems and water heaters . Weishaupt now achieves a maximum output range of 32 MW for burners .
- Neuberger : Part of the Weishaupt Group since 1995. Focus on energy management and building automation , as well as clean room technology and process technology.
- South building site : Part of the Weishaupt Group since 2009. Focus on energy generation using near-surface geothermal energy .
Products
The company's reputation was founded on the “Monarch burner”, which is still available today in a revised form. The following products have received multiple awards for their good design:
- 2005: red dot design award , product design division, for Weishaupt burner series W
- 2006: red dot design award, product design division, for WM-G10 gas burner
Weishaupt forum
Between 1989 and 1992, the “Weishaupt Forum” was built on the factory premises of the Weishaupt company, an award-winning building designed by New York architect Richard Meier . It serves as the company's central training, exhibition and social building.
