Welcome Interstate Managers is the third studio album by the American band Fountains of Wayne . After the group was released from Atlantic Records in 1999 and temporarily disbanded, they found back together in 2002 , recorded the album on their own and at their own expense, and was signed by Virgin Records .
On Welcome Interstate Managers is also Stacy's Mom , the most famous song of the group.
The many different musical styles represented are remarkable. Between classic Fountains of Wayne pieces, unusually calm songs and even a country number mix .

Mexican Wine
Mexican Wine was originally supposed to go on sale as a normal single with B-sides. However, when MTV refused to broadcast the accompanying video because two children were singing about them drinking wine, those plans were abandoned. Mexican Wine therefore only exists as a promo single with a song that went to radio stations and as a DVD single that went on sale, but has nothing to offer except a video.
