Michael Welder
Michael Welder (born December 8, 1944 in Coburg , † July 18, 1996 in Forchheim , Franconian Switzerland ) was a German modern historian, journalist, non-fiction author and photographer.
Life
Michael Welder studied Eastern European history and political science and was the author of numerous text and illustrated books with a focus on Eastern Europe. After two decades of intensive travel, he led annual study trips through East Central Europe . In the lectures as a lecturer in adult education, he dealt in particular with questions of nationality and the cultural history of German colonies in Europe and overseas. He lived in Forchheim .
