The Wells Glacier is a glacier on the Lassiter Coast in the east of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows north to New Bedford Inlet , which it reaches 15 km west of Cape Brooks .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after James T. Wells, warehouse manager at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in the Antarctic winter of 1967.
