Welyka Andrussiwka ( Ukrainian Велика Андрусівка ; Russian Великая Андрусовка Velikaja Andrussowka ) is a village in the northeast of the Ukrainian Oblast Kirowohrad with about 1600 inhabitants (2004).
The village, founded in the 18th century, is located on the south bank of the Dnieper , dammed up to form the Kremenchuk reservoir , and is the administrative center of a district council within the Switlovodsk district . Velyka Andrussiwka is located 100 km northeast of the Oblast capital Kropywnyzkyj and 24 km west of the district center Svitlovodsk . The regional road P – 10 runs through Velyka Andrussivka .
The district council also includes the villages Kalantajiw ( Калантаїв ⊙ ) with about 500 inhabitants, Illitschiwka ( Іллічівка ⊙ ) with about 5 inhabitants and Snishkowa Balka ( Сніжкова Балка ⊙ ) with about 10 inhabitants.
