Welyka Luka ( Ukrainian Велика Лука ; Russian Великая Лука Velikaja Luka , Polish Łuka Wielka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Ternopil Oblast with about 1200 inhabitants (2001).

The village, first mentioned in writing in 1473, is the administrative center of the 23.08 km² district council of the same name in the south of Ternopil Rajon , to which the village of Chatky ( Хатки , ) with about 50 inhabitants belongs.

The village is situated at an altitude of 317  m on the right bank of the Seret , a tributary of the Dniester , opposite Myschkowytschi and about 15 km south of the Rajon- and Oblastzentrum Ternopil .
