Wenzel Raimund Birck
Wenzel Raimund Johann Birck , also to be found under Pirck , Birk and other spellings, (baptized June 27, 1718 in Vienna ; † July 17, 1763 ibid) was an Austrian composer and organist .
Life
Birck was a student of Matteo Palotta and Johann Joseph Fux . From 1739 he worked as an imperial court organist with composition obligations. He taught the royal princes and archdukes. One of his students was Christoph Sonnleithner .
