Werner Andres

Werner Andres (born November 25, 1946 ; † February 15, 2012 ) was a German mechanical engineer and university professor.

Life

In 1989 Andres was appointed professor at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences (today Hanover University ). From 1994 to 2002 he was Vice President there. From 2004 to 2011 he was President. On June 1, 2011, he retired.

In addition, from 2000 to 2001 he ran the business at the University of Applied Sciences Oldenburg / Ostfriesland / Wilhelmshaven ( MdWdGb ).
