Werner Bertheau

Werner Bertheau (born September 10, 1906 in Hanau ; † October 22, 1997 in Waiblingen ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Career

Bertheau studied law. After the war and imprisonment, he worked in the Württemberg-Baden Ministry of Economics until 1950. From 1950 to 1972 he was District Administrator of the district Waiblingen and the entry into force of Administrative Reform to October 1973 Temporary Administrator of the newly formed Rems-Murr . In the state elections in 1960 he won a second mandate in the Waiblingen I constituency, but lost it again after a by-election on March 12, 1961.

From 1968 until his retirement in 1973 he was President of the Baden-Württemberg District Assembly .
