Werner Faber (pedagogue)

Werner Faber (born January 18, 1928 in Haaren near Bad Wünnenberg; † September 18, 2017 ) was a German educator and fairy tale researcher.

Life

Werner Faber studied pedagogy in Münster and received his doctorate in 1960 with a thesis on the dialogic principle of Martin Buber . From 1960 he was professor for education in Aachen , from 1968 in Paderborn and from 1977 professor for adult education at the University of Bamberg . He was a member of the Görres Society .
