Werner Glaubitz

Werner Glaubitz (born January 5, 1936 in Opole , Upper Silesia ) is a German lawyer and was the managing director of Gesamtmetall for many years .

Life

After being expelled from Silesia, Glaubitz graduated from high school in Rüthen ( North Rhine-Westphalia ) in 1956 . He then studied law at the Free University of Berlin , the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and the University of Bonn until 1962 . He passed his legal traineeship exam in 1962 at the University of Cologne and in 1965 he took his second state examination at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf .

Assessor Glaubitz began his professional career from 1965 to 1967 as a consultant at the Federation of German Employers' Associations in Cologne . From 1968 to 1970 he was a consultant at the state association of employers' associations in North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf . After all, from 1971 to 2001 he initially worked as a speaker, for the next 25 years as head of the “Legal and Social Security” department and as managing director of the employers' association Gesamtmetall in Cologne. On January 31, 2001 he retired after 30 years at Gesamtmetall.

Glaubitz is one of the authors of the commentary on the Works Constitution Act . He also wrote essays on labor and social security issues.

Glaubitz now lives in Stuhr -Heiligenrode near Bremen .
