Werner Hennemann

Werner Hennemann (born June 12, 1905 in Darmstadt ; † 1985 ) was a German lawyer and politician ( Eastern CDU ). From 1946 to 1948 he was a member of parliament and vice-president of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

After attending grammar school and doing a commercial apprenticeship in the field and normal railway supply industry from 1923 to 1925, he completed a law degree. In 1929 he passed his legal traineeship and was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD . From 1929 to 1931 he worked at the district and regional court in Frankfurt am Main and then for a short time as a businessman in Bologna . From 1932 to 1935 he was in-house counsel and legal advisor of the Walsheim brewery in Saarbrücken and from 1935 to 1946 authorized signatory and commercial director of the Freyburg brewery in Halle (Saale) .

After the Second World War , he passed an assessor examination in Berlin and was admitted to the bar in Halle. He became a member of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) and the CDU state executive committee for Saxony-Anhalt . In the state elections in the province of Saxony in October 1946, he entered the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt via the provincial list . When the Landtag was constituted in November 1946, he was elected Vice-President of the Landtag and held this office until his resignation in March 1948. From January to March 1947 he worked as a ministerial director and deputy to the minister for economics and transport of the province of Saxony-Anhalt. He then worked as a lawyer in Halle. Because of imminent arrest, he fled to the West in March 1948 and went to Stuttgart .
