Werner Klüppelholz

Werner Klüppelholz (born December 23, 1946 in Wülfrath ) is a German musicologist , music teacher and university professor.

Life

He studied composition, school music, musicology, sociology and phonetics at the Cologne University of Music and the University of Cologne and received his doctorate in 1976 in Cologne.

Until his retirement, Klüppelholz was professor of music education at the University of Siegen .

He published several books on Mauricio Kagel and also edited his writings. His research interests also include the didactics of new music . Klüppelholz also works regularly for the cultural radio station SWR2 as an author and presenter of music programs.
