history
The place called Kathrinlacken before 1946 was founded in 1615. Until 1928, the village was a Vorwerk of goods Saalau (Russian Today: Kamenskoe), which from 1874 to the District Saalau in district Insterburg and Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged. In 1905 there were 100 inhabitants registered in Kathrinlacken. On September 30, 1928, the rural community of Saalau and the Saalau manor district merged - together with the neighboring towns of Klein Pruskehmen (1938–1946: Preußdendorf) and Rudlacken (1938–1946: Jägersruh, both places no longer exist) to form the new rural community of Saalau, in the Kathrinlacken became a town.
In 1945 Kathrinlacken came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . At an unknown time, the place received the Russian name "Novo-Kamenskoje" and was assigned to the Kamenski selski Sowet in the Chernyakhovsk district . From 2008 to 2015 Novo-Kamenskoye belonged to the rural municipality of Kamenskoye selskoye posselenije and since then to the urban district of Chernyakhovsk.
church
With its predominantly Protestant village population, Kathrinlacken was parish into the parish of Saalau (today in Russian: Kamenskoje) until 1945 . It was in the church district of Insterburg in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Now-Kamenskoje is located in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Talpaki (Taplacken) , a branch of the Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) in the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .

↑ However, this name probably did not come from this place. On a map from the early 1970s, Kathrinlacken was referred to as belonging to Sirenewka (Siemohnen) , while the district of Novo-Kamenskoje with new buildings (?) Located immediately south of Kamenskoje was referred to as belonging to Kamenskoje.
