history
Until 1946 Warnien consisted of several smaller courtyards. His first documentary mention experienced the place in 1410. Between 1874 and 1945 Warnien was in the District Plibischken (Russian Today: Gluschkowo) incorporated, which for Wehlau circle in the administrative district of Konigsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged. On December 1, 1910, Warnien with the districts of Klein Warnien and Warnienhof (Russian: Belinskoje, both places no longer exist) counted a total of 130 inhabitants. Their number was 124 in 1933 and 117 in 1939.
In 1945 Warnien came to the Soviet Union as a result of the war with northern East Prussia . In 1950 the place was given the Russian name "Sobolewo" and was assigned to the village soviet Kamenski selski Sowet in Chernyakhovsk Raion . From 2008 to 2015 Sobolewo belonged to the rural municipality of Kamenskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the city district of Chernyakhovsk.
