Mostowoje ( Russian Мостовое , German  Kallwischken , 1938–1945 Hengstenberg , Lithuanian Kalviškiai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Tschernjachowsk in chernyakhovsky district .

Geographical location

Mostowoje is located 21 kilometers northwest of the city of Chernyachovsk (Insterburg) on the municipal road 27K-097, which branches off not far north of Kalinowka (Aulowönen / Aulenbach) from the regional road 27A-009 (ex A197 ) and via Dubrowka (Spannegeln) to Vysokoje (Popelken / Markthausen) leads. There is no rail connection.

history

The later Gutsdorf Kallwischken was formerly a colony of the Salzburg exiles and came to the newly established district of Aulowönen in 1874 (renamed in 1938 to: "District Aulenbach", the place name is Russian: Kalinowka). This lasted until 1945 and was part of the district Insterburg in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 there were 52 inhabitants in the manor district of Kallwischken.

On October 17, 1928, the neighboring communities of Kemsen and Klein Aulowönen merged with the Gutsdorf Kallwischken to form the new rural community of Kallwischken, which had a total of 197 inhabitants in 1933 and 202 in 1939. counted. On June 3, 1938, Kallwischken was renamed "Hengstenberg" for political and ideological reasons, with official confirmation of July 16, 1938.

As a result of the war, the place came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia in 1945 . In 1950 he received the Russian name "Mostowoje" and was assigned to the Kalinowski selski Sowet in the Bolshakowo Rajon . Later (probably 1963) the place came to the Vysovsky selski Sowet in Slavsk Raion . Since around 1980 Mostowoje belonged again to the Kalinowski selski Sowet, this time in the Chernyakhovsk district . From 2008 to 2015 the place belonged to the rural municipality Kalushskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Chernyakhovsk.
