Perelesnoje ( Russian Перелесное , German Pagelienen , Lithuanian Pagelynai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Tschernjachowsk in chernyakhovsky district .
The remains of the former Kauschen / Horstenau also belong to Perelesnoje .
Geographical location
Perelesnoye is located six kilometers north of the city of Chernyakhovsk (Insterburg) on the regional road 27A-009 (ex A197 ). Before 1945 the place was a train station on the Insterburg – Groß Skaisgirren railway of the Insterburger Kleinbahnen . Today there is a rail connection via Chernyakhovsk.
history
The small village Pagelienen was first mentioned in 1584. As a rural community, the place was added to the newly established district of Szieleitschen in 1874 (1938–1946: Schieleitschen, no longer exists today). He also belonged to renaming in 1930 in "District Geswethen " and in 1938 "District Landwehr (Ostpr.) " The district Insterburg in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia .
Pagelienen had a total of 235 inhabitants in 1910. Their number decreased to 211 by 1933 and was only 199 in 1939.
In 1945 Pagelienen came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place was given the Russian name "Perelesnoye" and was also assigned to the Kaluschski selski Sowet in the Chernyakhovsk district . 1954 came the place in the Majowski selski Sowet . In 1997 Pereslesnoye came to the Kalinovsky selski okrug village district . From 2008 to 2015 the place belonged to the rural municipality Kalushskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Chernyakhovsk.

Before 1945, the majority of the population of Pagelia was Protestant . The village belonged to the parish of the church Georgenburg (today Russian: Majowka) in the parish of Insterburg in the church province of East Prussia of the church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Perelesnoye is located in the catchment area of the newly formed Evangelical Lutheran congregation in the city of Chernyakhovsk (Insterburg) , the parish for the church region of Chernyakhovsk in the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
