Petrozavodskoje ( Russian Петрозаводское , German  Eichwald [Oberförsterei] ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Tschernjachowsk in chernyakhovsky district . It is a forestry business.

Geographical location

The forestry is located on the southern edge of les Tschernjachowski , the former Eichwald state forest, about seven kilometers northeast of the city center of Tschernjachowsk (Insterburg) .

history

Since 1874, the Eichwald forest ranger has belonged to the Eichwald district in the Insterburg district . In 1929 the chief forester was (apparently) incorporated into the community of Neu Stobingen in the district of Pieragienen. As of 1945, this was the municipality of Stobingen in the Angerlinde district.

After it became part of the Soviet Union , the place was renamed Petrozavodskoye in 1950 and incorporated into the Krasnopoljanski selski Sowet in the Chernyakhovsk district. From 2008 to 2015 Petrozavodskoye belonged to the municipal municipality of Chernyakhovskoye gorodskoje posselenije and since then has been part of the Chernyakhovsk district.
