Bolschewskoje ( Russian Большевское , until 1997 Balaschewskoje, German  Reichenhof ) is a place in the Russian oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Tschernjachowsk in chernyakhovsky district .

Geographical location

The place Bolshevskoje is located in the Pregel glacial valley surrounded by flooded former gravel pits on the municipal road 27K-271, which branches off the federal road A 229 near Talpaki and leads to Puschkarjowo (Pushdorf) . The distance to Chernyakhovsk (Insterburg) to the east is about 30 kilometers.

history

The Reichenhof estate existed at least in the 19th century. It belonged to the municipality of Taplacken in the Wehlau district directly on the border with the Insterburg district and the Petersdorf parish . During the First World War and in the years thereafter, the estate was an important supplier of gravel .

After the conquest by the Red Army in 1945, the place was renamed Balashevskoye in 1950. The place was assigned to the village soviet Mezhduretschenski selski Sowet in the Chernyakhovsk Raion and after its dissolution in 1961 came to the Bereschkowski selski Sowet . In 1997 the place was renamed Bolshevskoye. From 2008 to 2015 Bolshevskoye belonged to the rural municipality of Svobodnenskoye selskoye posselenije and since then to the Chernyakhovsk district.
