Werner Lohn (2013)

Werner Lohn (born February 17, 1958 in Geseke ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the state parliament in North Rhine-Westphalia from 2004 to 2017 .

Political career

Lohn joined the CDU in 1990 as a trained police officer and has been a councilor in Geseke since 1994 , from 1999 mayor of Langeneicke , Ermsinghausen, Mittelhausen and from 2001 vice-CDU parliamentary group leader. In the state elections in 2000 he ran for the state parliament, but lost with a deficit of only 43 votes. He moved into the state parliament as a successor in 2004 and was directly elected in the state elections in 2005 for the Soest II constituency with the municipalities of Anröchte , Erwitte , Geseke, Lippstadt and Warstein . He was a member of the Labor, Health and Social Affairs Committee. In the state elections in 2010 , Lohn again won the direct mandate in his constituency. In the 2012 state elections , Lohn was unable to defend his direct candidate in the Soest II state electoral district and entered the state parliament via the reserve list (16th place). Since then he has been a member of the Interior Committee, the municipal committee and spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group in the budget and finance committee (subcommittee on personnel) and a member of the parliamentary control body for the protection of the constitution. Werner Lohn did not run again for the 2017 state elections and left the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia on June 1, 2017.

Personal

Werner Lohn is married and has three children. He has a degree in administrative management and is a chief detective.
