Werner Möhl

Werner Möhl (born November 2, 1927 in Ströbitz ; † February 24, 2013 ) was a German local politician and district administrator ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school and training, he worked as an administrative clerk from 1944 to 1957. From 1957 to 1977 he was trade union secretary in Laasphe and from 1977 to 1988 DGB district chairman of the Siegen-Wittgenstein district.

He was a member of the district council of the former Wittgenstein district from April 6, 1961 until the regional reform on December 31, 1974. From May 5, 1975 he was a member of the district council of the Siegen-Wittgenstein district . From March 8, 1966 to December 31, 1974 he was the last district administrator in the Wittgenstein district. Möhl was a member of the town council of Laasphe from 1959 to 1978. From November 21, 1969 to September 20, 1978 he was mayor of Laasphe.

From 1964 to 1969 he was a member of the landscape assembly of the regional association Westphalia-Lippe . Möhl was also active in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Others

In 1987 he was a co-founder of the Radio Siegen association . He was a member of the board of directors of AOK Wittgenstein and temporarily chairman of the representative assembly of AOK Siegerland. Möhl was also a member of the board of the state insurance company. He was particularly interested in workers' welfare .
