Werner Pfitzner (born February 14, 1961 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

For the 1981/82 season he rose from the second team (U-23) to the professional squad of Karlsruher SC , which played in the Bundesliga . He made his debut on April 28, 1982 in the 4-0 away defeat against Borussia Dortmund . Between 1982 and 1984 he was active again for the U-23, before he was promoted to the professional team again in the 1984/85 season , but relegated with the KSC from the Bundesliga to the 2nd Bundesliga . In total, he was used five times for the professional area of ​​the KSC. In 1986 he moved to SV Linx , with whom he was promoted to the then third-class amateur league Baden-Württemberg in 1987 . For the 1988/89 season he moved to ASV Durlach , which is based in the Karlsruhe district of Durlach and played in the Baden Association League. He played there until 1991.

In the DFB Cup, he was used in one game.

He later returned to KSC as an assistant coach for the U-14 youth team.
