Werner Simon (theologian)
Werner Simon (born March 15, 1950 in Niederwalluf , Rheingaukreis ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
Simon studied Latin , history and Catholic theology at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz from 1967 to 1974 . From 1985 to 1991 Simon was professor for religious education and didactics of Catholic religious teaching at the Free University of Berlin . Simon has been a professor for Catholic theology at the University of Mainz since 1991.
