Werner Karl Friedrich Achatz Graf von der Schulenburg-Hehlen (born April 1, 1847 in Lüneburg , † May 8, 1931 in Hehlen ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Schulenburg attended the pedagogy in Ilfeld from 1861 to 1864 and then joined the Royal Hanoverian Guard Cuirassier Regiment as a cadet. In 1866 he became an officer in the Hanoverian Garde du Corps. In 1867 he joined the Ducal Braunschweig Hussar Regiment as a lieutenant, from which he left in April 1869. In 1870/71 he was a reserve officer in the regiment. From 1871 he studied agriculture for 2 semesters at the University of Halle . In 1874 he took over the management of the Hehlen family estate and in 1880 the property.

From 1890 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Hanover 11 ( Einbeck , Northeim , Osterode am Harz , Uslar ) and the German-Hanover party .
