West festivals
As Western festivals is called the land mass that the double continent America - that of Europe is seen from west - includes. Its counterpart is the east fortress . The West fortress describes the so-called New World , which, in contrast to the Old World (the East fortress), was only settled by humans around 15,000 years ago and was only rediscovered from a European perspective in 1492 .
The term used to be used in geography and then also included Antarctica , as the Antarctic Peninsula is relatively close to the southern tip of South America .
