Career

Weverson Leandro Oliveira Moura was born on May 12, 1993 in Brasília , Brazil . In his youth he played in the clubs Associação Botafogo Futebol Clube, Centro de Futebol Zico de Brasília Sociedade Esportiva, SE Gama and from 2010 at Grêmio Porto Alegre . In January of the following year he joined the main squad of Gremio Porto Alegre and made his debut on February 20, 2011. He came to a replacement as a replacement for Fabio Rochemback and scored the 5: 0 against Ypiranga Futebol Clube .
Leandro signed a five-year deal with Tricolor right after his 18th birthday and made his Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol debut against Corinthians São Paulo on May 22nd in a 2-1 home defeat. On January 10, 2014, he signed a four-year long-term contract with the club for a fee of 5 million euros . When Palmeiras won the Copa do Brasil 2015 in December, Leandro was no longer in the squad. From August 3 to December 31, 2015 Leandro was on loan to Santos FC . There he scored 1 goal in 14 games.
Another loan deal followed for the 2016 season. Leandro will play for Coritiba FC from February 2, 2016 until the end of the year .
In 2017 Leandro continued to play no role in the planning of Palmeiras. He went to Japan on loan to Kashima Antlers for a year . In December of that year it was announced that the club would take over Leandro for another three years. In 2020 he was loaned to league rivals FC Tokyo .
National team
Leandro took part in the 2011 Pan American Games with an U-22 selection . Here he came only to a 44 minute mission against Cuba. In 2013 he played in the Brazilian A-selection. Leandro was part of the team in the friendly against Bolivia on April 6, 2013 under the direction of Scolari . In the game he was substituted on in the 78th minute when the score was 3-0 for Ronaldinho and scored in the 92nd the goal to make it 4-0. In 2014 he took part in the Toulon tournament with a U-21 team and was able to win it (three games and one goal).
