The Wey P8 is the first plug-in hybrid -car to be Great Wall accompanying Chinese automobile brand Wey .
history
The five-seat sport utility vehicle made its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2017 as the Pi4 VV7x concept vehicle . The production vehicle was presented at the International Motor Show in September 2017 in Frankfurt am Main . The P8 has been on sale in China since April 25, 2018.
At the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2018, the Wey P8 GT, a variant with its own look, was presented.
Technical specifications
The P8 from the from the driven Wey VV7 known two-liter gasoline engine , which in combination with two electric motors 250 (340 hp) kW. Wey specifies the maximum torque with 524 Nm. The SUV should need 6.5 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h, the electric range is specified as 50 km.
