The Wey VV5 is after Wey VV7 the second vehicle to the Great Wall associated Chinese automobile brand Wey .
history
The five-seat sport utility vehicle was presented as the W02 concept vehicle at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2017 and has been on sale in China since September 2017. In Europe, the car was first presented at the International Motor Show in September 2017 in Frankfurt am Main . The VV5 shares the platform with the Wey VV6 and the Haval H6 .

technology
The five-seater was to launch out by a supercharged Otto engine of the type 4C20A with two liters capacity and direct driven, the Great Wall in a modified form also in Haval H9 used. It develops 145 kW (197 hp) between 5200 and 5500 revolutions per minute, and it can deliver its maximum torque of 355 Nm between 2000 and 3200 rpm. A 7-speed dual clutch transmission and all-wheel drive are standard . All wheels are individually suspended , the front ones on wishbones and MacPherson struts , and a multi- link axle is installed at the rear .
In May 2019, two more drive variants followed that meet the China VI emissions standard .
