Whangara is a small settlement in the Gisborne District on the North Island of New Zealand .

geography

The settlement is located between the approximately 15 km southwest of Gisborne and the 22 km northeast of Tolaga Bay , 5 km southwest of Cape Gable End Foreland . The New Zealand State Highway 35 leads 2km west of the settlement over.
