content

The song describes a person's dissatisfaction with current conditions: 25 years and my life is still tryin 'to get up that great big hill of hope for a destination ( I'm 25 now and I'm still trying to get up that great hill of hope with one Goal to climb ).

Although he has already found out that the world consists of the brotherhood of all human beings (however this is to be interpreted), he does not get any further. Instead, he is plagued by dark thoughts that constantly haunt him and make him cry again and again when he ponders about it, lying on the bed: And so I cry sometimes when I'm lying in bed just to get it all out what's in my head.

His desperation about the prevailing conditions are reminiscent of the motivations of the religious-social movement, when it says: And I pray, oh my God, do I pray. I pray every single day for a revolution ( And I pray, oh my god, how I pray. I pray every single day for a revolution ).
