When Your Flesh Screams (UT: Cuando tu Carne Grite Basta ) is an Argentinian rape-and-revenge film directed by and screenwriter Guillermo Martínez .

Martina, a biology student, moved to the provinces to research rare plant species. She hasn't heard from her boyfriend in days. On an outing, she is taken by her neighbor and a dodgy-looking guy. The two pretend that the car breaks down and kidnap Martina.

Martina regains consciousness at a drug dealer’s estate where a rogue gang member has just been murdered. Her boyfriend is there too, who is raped by one of the guys and then murdered.

The boss of the gang has chosen her and raped her in the most brutal way. Then his two partners are supposed to get rid of their corpse. They drive with Martina, who is still alive, into the forest, where she is raped again and also peed on. The drug dealers leave her behind, believing she is dead.

However, a stranger picks them up and nurses them back to health. Then she starts her revenge and kills one tormentor after the other.

When Your Flesh Screams is the debut film by Argentine director Guillermo Martínez (not identical to Guillermo Martínez , although various sources claim it is). As the leading actress he chose Victoria Witemburg , who already played a similar role in I'll Never Die Alone (2008). The film is essentially inspired by Meir Zarchi's I Spit on Your Grave (1978) and Wes Craven's The Last House on the Left (1972).

The film premiered on October 11, 2015 at the Festival de Cine Inusual de Buenos Aires. This was followed by a screening at the Córdoba International Horror Film Festival eleven days later.

In the USA it was released on October 12, 2015 in various formats, including a limited VHS version. In German-speaking countries, the film was first released on December 18, 2016 via the Dutch uncut label Extreme in a mediabook with an attached booklet.
