The White Spur is a rock spur in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . As a foothill extending to the east in the center of the Daniels Range of the Usarp Mountains , it forms part of the south face of the Allegro Valley .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1960 and 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Russell F. White, meteorologist of the United States Antarctic Research Program on the Amundsen-Scott -South Pole Station from 1967 to 1968.
