Whitetop Mountain is the second highest mountain in the US state of Virginia . It belongs to the mountain range of the Blue Ridge Mountains . The mountain has a height of 1682 m above mean sea level. It is located on the intersection of Grayson County , Smyth County, and Washington County . It can be reached very easily via designated hiking trails.
From 1932 to 1939 the White Top Folk Festival was held on the mountain .
