Wiel is a village in the municipality of Wies in the Deutschlandsberg district , Styria .
The village west of Wies is located in the valley of the White Sulm . On January 1st, 2020 the village had 151 inhabitants. Between 1849 and 2014, Wiel was part of the Wielfresen community , which has been part of the Wies community since 2015 together with Wernersdorf and Limberg bei Wies . The village also consists of Sankt Katharina in der Wiel and numerous individual layers .
The cadastral communities are Wiel St. Anna and Wiel St. Oswald .
