The Vienna Academic Holiday Association Reich , sometimes also referred to as the singer association Das Reich , was a right-wing extremist holiday association that existed from 1990 until it voluntarily dissolved itself on August 1, 2011 . The association referred to by the DÖW as a "pseudo fraternity" was not a member of an umbrella organization and did not maintain any cartels, but until his death in 1995 a member of the Teutonia fraternity chaired the association.

According to a report in News magazine , the association acted as a reservoir for the right-wing scene with connections to groups such as Blood and Honor or the Association of Free Youth . In 2011, a house search took place at several locations, including the club premises of the Reich Ferialverbindungen in Untere Donaustraße in Vienna's 2nd district, during which "prohibited military firearms, associated ammunition ... Nazi devotional items or documents relevant to the crime" were confiscated and via Gottfried Küssel was arrested. According to a report by the daily newspaper Der Standard , a larger part of the supervisors of the neo-Nazi internet platform Alpen-Donau.info gathered in the connection. In 2011 a guest of the association was sentenced to imprisonment for re-activating and inciting hatred on the website "Alpen-Donau.info". In the course of the trial against several people suspected of running alpen-donau.info, a defendant is suspected of having given an eulogy for Hitler at a celebration of the association and of having offered the Hitler salute.

During its existence, the association held a weekly meeting and various events such as "Lecture: Die Zersetzer - Who annihilates people and land" or a Reich Weapons Day . The club members called themselves "Reichsbrüder" . The best- known member was Gottfried Küssel , who exercised the functions of secretary and treasurer.
