The Wiestalstausee is a reservoir with a storage target of 554.6 m above sea level. A. , which is located in the Salzkammergut Mountains in the Austrian municipalities of Puch bei Hallein , Ebenau and Adnet . It has a storage volume of 7.5 hm³ and is fed by the Almbach . The lake and its surroundings have been designated a landscape protection area in the state of Salzburg since 1960 .
Of the eponymous Wiestal above the meadow talc lamb artificial Wiestalstausee was 1909 to 1913 by the construction of a 28 m high gravity dam length m with a 66 built curved crown.
