Knut Wigert

Knut Kirsebom Wigert (born October 3, 1916 in Skien , † June 14, 2006 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian actor. He was considered a leading Ibsen interpreter. From 1938 to 1986 he worked at the National Theater in Oslo and also played in NRK drama and other films, including a. Aunt Pose (1940), The Terrorists (1975) and Höstsonatas (1978).

Wigert was committed to the Riksmål language and was chairman of the Riksmålsforbundet from 1974 to 1983 .

He was married to Sofie Helene Wigert and, after her death, to Vera Dietrichson.
