Viktor Semyashkin

Viktor Semyashkin ( Russian Виктор Семяшкин , English transcription Viktor Semyashkin ; born December 29, 1947 ) is a former Soviet middle-distance runner .

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Sofia in 1971, the Soviet team won the 4 x 800 meter relay with Valentin Taratynow , Stanislaw Meschtscherskich , Alexei Taranow and Semjaschkin and set an indoor world record with 7: 17.8 minutes.

In 1972 Semjaschkin was seventh over 1500 m at the European Indoor Championships in Sofia . He set his best time over this distance of 3: 40.6 minutes on May 29, 1975 in Sochi .
