Viktor Yegorovich Subarew ( Kazakh / Russian Виктор Егорович Зубарев; born April 10, 1973 in Aqsu , Kazakh SSR ; †  October 18, 2004 in Omsk , Russia ) was a Kazakh football player .

Career

From 1993 to 1996 he played in the Kazakh Super League with Batyr . In 76 games he scored 18 goals for his club. In 1997 he moved to Irtysh Pavlodar , where he scored 10 goals in one season. After a poor season (1998) at Arsenal Tula, he moved back to Irtysh, where he experienced his career high point. He scored 22 goals in 26 games for Irtysh in the 1999/00 season. In the same year he was also voted Player of the Year in Kazakhstan .

Between 2000 and 2002 he played with Apollon Limassol in Cyprus . His last stations were again Irtysh and Jessil Bogatyr. He died on October 18, 2004.
