Anton Landes

Paul Anton Landes (born January 14, 1712 in Wessobrunn ; † May 16, 1764 in Berlin ) was a plasterer of the Bavarian Rococo .

Life

Anton Landes belonged to the circle of the important Wessobrunn school . He was a nephew and pupil of the well-known Munich court plasterer Johann Baptist Zimmermann . From an early age, Landes worked for the Munich court and made stucco work in the Schleißheim and Nymphenburg palaces . His later work focused on Regensburg and its wider area.
