The Wild Ammonoosuc River is a left tributary of the Ammonoosuc River in the US state of New Hampshire .
The Wild Ammonoosuc River has its origin in Beaver Pond near the Kinsman Notch mountain pass in the White Mountains in the Town of Woodstock . From there, the river flows in a predominantly northwestern direction through the Town of Easton and Town of Landaff . The New Hampshire State Route 112 follows the entire course of the river. The Wild Ammonoosuc River finally flows into the Ammonoosuc River south of Bath . The Wild Ammonoosuc River has a length of 15 miles.
Covered bridges
The Swiftwater Covered Bridge spans the Wild Ammonoosuc River almost 4 km from its mouth. It was built in 1849 and renovated in 1999.
