Poacher's Cross
Wilderers Kreuz , also Wildererkreuz , is a stone cross in the Heilbronn city forest on the Schweinsberg . The protected cultural monument is located on the district of Heilbronn district Sontheim on Störlesweg west of Schweinsberg tower .
The chest-high cross on a 30 cm high base with inscriptions on both sides reminds of two poachers who were shot in this forest in 1817 and 1870. It thus resembles medieval atonement crosses .
