Wilfried Geeroms
Wilfried Geeroms (born July 14, 1941 in Schaerbeek / Schaarbeek , † May 4, 1999 in Jette ) was a Belgian hurdler .
In 1962 he reached the semi-finals at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade over 110 m hurdles.
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was eighth in the 400 m hurdles.
In 1966 he was eliminated from the European Championships in Budapest over 400 m hurdles in the semi-finals and over 110 m hurdles in the preliminary run.
At the Olympic Games in 1968 he did not get past the first round over 400 m hurdles and at the European Championship in Athens in 1969 over 110 m hurdles .
Nine times he was Belgian champion over 110 m hurdles (1962, 1963, 1966-1970, 1973, 1974) and four times over 400 m hurdles (1963, 1964, 1967, 1971).
