Wilfried Parge

Wilfried Parge (born June 6, 1918 in Raddenfort ; † December 13, 1963 in Brühl (Rhineland) ) is a former German politician ( CDU ) and journalist . In 1946/47 he was a member of the state parliament in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Life

Wilfried Parge came from Raddenfort in Mecklenburg-Schwerin (today a district of Neu Kaliss ). He attended elementary school in Amsterdam , the secondary school in Dessau and passed his matriculation examination in 1936 in Breslau . He completed an internship in engine construction at Junkers Flugzeug- und Motorenwerke , completed his military service and became a soldier in World War II .

After returning from captivity, Parge began a journalistic career, including with the CDU organ, Der Demokratie . He joined the CDU regional association immediately after it was founded in July 1945. Since April 1946 Parge was deputy chairman of the CDU in Schwerin , and as a youth representative he was also elected to the state board and the zone board. After the municipal and state elections in 1946 , Parge received political mandates for the Schwerin city council and the state parliament . In 1946 he was permanently hired as editor of the state broadcaster Mecklenburg. In 1947 he fled the Soviet Zone to the west. There he continued his journalistic career.
