Wilfried Peetz
Wilfried Peetz (born August 8, 1945 in Dresden ) is a German singer and composer .
Life
Wilfried Peetz grew up in the GDR . In 1968 he began his musical career in the Theo Schumann Combo , where he was part of this band as a singer and guitarist until 1975. The combo became known to a larger audience with the song Good Evening Carolina . Then he started the Wilfried Peetz Band, with whom he toured the GDR. In 1994 Peetz founded his record label Pewi-Records in Groß Köris . There he composed and produced a. a. for Dagmar Frederic , Olaf Berger and Ingrid Peters .
He was married to the singer, lyricist and actress Elke Martens for many years before he met his duo partner Andrea. Since the beginning of 2009, Peetz has been on tour with her, Petra Kusch-Lück and Roland Neudert in the couple's show . Peetz lives in the Groß Köris district of Rankenheim ( Brandenburg ).
