Wilhelm Böllersen
Wilhelm Böllersen (born August 10, 1905 in Heyersum , Alfeld district, † December 3, 1998 ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .
biography
education and profession
The trained electrician Böllersen was employed as a pit electrician at the Burbach potash works until September 1946.
politics
Böllersen had been part of the Free Trade Union and the Socialist Workers' Youth since 1919. Since 1925 he belonged to the SPD. He later became branch manager of the mining industry association in Hildesheim .
From 1947 to 1951 Böllersen was a member of the state parliament in Lower Saxony . The Landtag elected him a member of the second Federal Assembly , which in 1954 re-elected Theodor Heuss as Federal President.
Public offices
From 1946 to 1948 Böllersen was mayor of Barnten . From 1957 to 1974 he was district administrator for the Springe district .
Honors
- He was awarded the Marie Juchacz plaque from the Arbeiterwohlfahrt in 1981.
- The district administrator-Wilhelm-Böllersen-Straße in Nordstemmen got his name.
- The District Administrator Wilhelm Böllersen Hall in Barnten was named after him.
