Friedrich Wilhelm Büsing (born June 17, 1854 in Batavia ; † August 13, 1932 in Leipzig ) was a German judge .

Life

Büsing's father went to India in 1842 "as a young man on good luck " and founded the trading company Büsing, Schröder & Co in Batavia. The family returned to Bremen around 1858 . Büsing's mother was a daughter of Johann Carl Friedrich Gildemeister . Adolf Bastian was a cousin of the father. Büsing received his doctorate after studying law. During his studies in 1873 he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity . In 1876 he was sworn in and entered the civil service in Alsace-Lorraine . From 1883 he was magistrate in Mulhouse i. E. In 1889 he was appointed public prosecutor. In 1893 he received the rank of councilors IV class. He was promoted to district judge in 1894. In 1905 he came to Colmar as a higher regional judge . In mid-1910 he was appointed to the Reichsgericht . He was active in the 4th Civil Senate for two and a half months and in the 4th Criminal Senate of the Imperial Court for over nine years . He retired December 1919.
