Wilhelm Bahlmann

Friedrich Wilhelm Bahlmann (born September 11, 1828 in Warendorf , † February 25, 1888 in Berlin ) was a German judge, ministerial official and parliamentarian.

Life

Wilhelm Bahlmann studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1848 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Bonn . After completing his studies, he pursued a career as a judge. He became district court director in Falkenberg . In 1868 he moved to Neustadt OS as district court director. In 1873 he was appointed lecturer in the Prussian Ministry of Spiritual, Educational and Medical Affairs. He was a member of the Disciplinary Court and a member of the Senate of the Academy of Art . He belonged to various artist foundations. From 1867 to 1873 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency administrative district Oppeln 9 (Neustadt, Falkenberg) . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party . The librarian Paul Bahlmann and the politician Karl Bahlmann were his sons.
