Wilhelm Bauer (politician)

Wilhelm Bauer (born December 4, 1890 in Wiesbaden , † February 8, 1965 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After secondary school, Wilhelm Bauer did an apprenticeship as a plumber and plumber. In the First World War he served as a soldier. After the war he passed the master craftsman examination in 1920 and became head master, district craftsman and state guild master.

politics

Wilhelm Bauer joined the CDU in 1945 and was an honorary city councilor for his party in Wiesbaden between 1946 and 1948. From February 25, 1948, when he moved up for Walter Siara , to November 30, 1950, and from July 3, 1951 , until November 30, 1958 , when he moved up for Erwin Stein , who had been elected judge at the Federal Constitutional Court he is a member of the Hessian state parliament. In 1954 he was a member of the second federal assembly .

Other offices

Wilhelm Bauer held various honorary positions in the craft organization. He was President of the Central Association of the Plumbing Trade, Vice President of the "Union internationale installations sanitaires" and a member of the Crafts Council of the Central Association of German Crafts.
